Colouring with Spike

Some of the Cheeky Monsters have spikes and glitter splotches; some have glasses and super sparkly tutus. One thing's for sure, they're full of colour! Have a go at colouring with Spike...

It’s time to colour with Spike! Remember to keep a steady hand and try your best to stay inside the lines. Once complete, remember to show your friends and family and maybe even give them the finished, coloured-in Spike as a present!

What you will need:

  • Colour-in sheets – you can download yours by clicking the download button at the bottom of this page.
  • Different coloured pencils, pens or crayons – we’re going for yellow, light orange, dark orange, red and purple.
  • A hard surface to lean on, like a table, a desk or tray.

What to do:

  1. Download and print out your colour-in sheet.
  2. Pick the colours you want to start to colour in with.
  3. Get comfortable with a hard surface in front of you.
  4. Colour in! Begin by colouring in Spike’s tummy and dots with yellow and orange.
  5. Colour in the rest of his body with a darker orange.
  6. Add yellow to the butterfly wings and purple to his cheeky purple spikes.
  7. Use the purple for the rest of the butterfly – take your time with this part, it’s a little bit tricky!
  8. Colour in his name to match, and there you have it!
